Michaelangelo (Ninja Turtle) Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Michaelangelo was one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He was generally happy-go-lucky, and had a fondness for pizza beyond even that of his teammates. He is often referred to as a "Party Dude", which, though somewhat accurate, accounts for only part of his deep persona. His mask was orange, which is his favorite color, and his weapon was a pair of nunchucks. He was named after Michelangelo Buonarroti, the famous Renaissance artist. It was a spelling error that stuck, but he is called Michelangelo in the Japanese adaptations of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and in Volume 4 of the comic series from Mirage Studios. His trademark phrase was "COWABUNGA, DUDE!!!!" In the 1987 cartoon show, Michaelangelo was voice-acted by Townsend Coleman. In the 2003 cartoon show, he was voice-acted by Wayne Grayson.
