Michael Bolton, born February 26, 1954, is an American singer-songwriter.Born Michael Bolotin in New Haven, Connecticut, he is a two-time Grammy Award winning artist. Over the course of his career he has sold over 52 million albums and singles worldwide.
In 1993, he established the Michael Bolton Foundation to assist children and women at risk from the effects of poverty and emotional, physical and sexual abuse.
Michael Bolton is also the name of the character played by David Herman in Mike Judge's 1999 film Office Space. The character's name is intentionally the same as the singer-songwriter's.
