Melinda McGraw is an American actress.Born in 1963, McGraw grew up in the Boston area and began her career in the late 80s. Her first major role was playing Detective Cyd Madison on The Commish from 1992 to 1994. While there she met Nicholas Lea who she dated for a few years.
The only notable movie releases to date by McGraw were in 1998's Wrongfully Accused and 2000's but her television roles are plentiful. They include guest appearances on Quantum Leap, Seinfeld, Cybill, Mad About You, The Larry Sanders Show, The District and ''The Practice.
McGraw also appeared in five episodes of The X-Files playing Scully's ill-fated sister Melissa. Her TV starring roles include Soul Man from 1997 to 1998, and Center fo the Universe.
