MCAS Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
The Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System is a standardized test adminstered by the Massachusetts Department of Education based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. These test were first adminstered in May 1998 to students in grades 4,8 & 10. In 2001, the test were then adminstered to students in all grades from 3rd to 7th and grade 10. In 2003, any student who did not pass the 10th grade test would have to retake it before the year was out.
