Mas Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Mas is short for masquerade and is part of carnival tradition from Trinidad and Tobago. Masks are work and characters such as "Pitchy Patchy" (Jonkonou) and "Dame Lorraine" are depicted.

Mas is the "holy bread" eaten by members of the Armenian Apostolic Church at the end of the Divine Liturgy. It is not "communion". The word is not etymologically related to the word Mass.

MAS is an abbreviation for multi-agent system.

mas stands for milliarcsecond, or 1/1000 arcsecond. Astronomical distances to stars are sometimes given in mas, such as in the HIPPARCOS catalogue. This unit can be converted to parsecs (pc) by taking the inverse: 1000 mas = 1/pc
