Marstal is a municipality on the island of Ærø in the county of Funen in Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 17 km², and has a total population of 3,464.Marstal recently held elections for the unification of Marstal with Ærøskøbing municipality, which were successful. Elections for a common council of the municipality of Ærø are scheduled to be held in the spring of 2004.
