Maria al-Qibtiyya Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Maria al-Qibtiyya was a
Coptic slave girl sent to the Prophet
Muhammad by the king of
Egypt. She was the mother of his son, Ibrahim, who died when he was still an infant. She is said to have married Muhammad. At least everyone treated her as his wife. She was with Muhammad for only three years until his death. She died five years latter.
