Eisler Liván Hernández Carrera (born February 20, 1975), better known as Liván Hernández [lee-VAHN er-NAN-deth], is a right-handed starting pitcher from Villa Clara, Cuba. He has played with the Montreal Expos since 2003. Previously, he played with the Florida Marlins (1996-99) and San Francisco Giants (1999-2002).During his eight year career, Hernández has compiled a 84-79 record with 995 strikeouts, a 4.22 ERA, 31 complete games, five shutouts, and 1449 innings pitched in 214 games.
