Lino Oviedo Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Lino César Oviedo (Born September 23, 1943) is a former Paraguayan army general and a politician. In a coup attempt during April of 1996, he attempted to overthrow President Juan Carlos Wasmosy, but was ultimately sent into exile.
On June 28, 2004, he returned to Paraguay, first in Argentina and then in Brazil, was and detained by the police, who took him to the Military Prision of Viñas Cué, located in a short distance from Asunción. He is completing a 10-year sentence in that jail.
