Les Presley Pretend is a fictional character who has his own comic strip in the UK comic The Beano. He first appeared in issue 2493, dated 28 April 1990, in which he pretended to be a martian. Every week he pretends to be something and dresses up like it. His dad is called Des, an Elvis Presley fan and impersonator, hence Les' middle name of Presley. The strip was drawn by John Sherwood until his death in 2003, and, after a short absence, the current artist is Trevor Metcalfe.
