Lambda Phi Epsilon Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
ΛΦΕ (Lambda Phi Epsilon) (also LPhiE) is the United States' first and only nationally recognized Asian-Interest fraternity. Founded in UCLA on February 25, 1981, Lambda Phi Epsilon has since expanded throughout California and through the West Coast. Lambda Phi Epsilon quickly chartered to schools in Texas and into the East Coast with the University at Buffalo - Nu Chapter being the first.Nu Chapter was the first Asian-Interest fraternity started on the East Coast. Starting as Delta Gamma Tau, on September 15, 1992 Delta Gamma Tau decided to merge with Lamba Phi Epsilon (effectively taking on Lambda Phi Epsilon's letters) to unify organizations with identical purposes and strengthen Asian voice in the school community.
