Kok Ksor Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Kok Ksor was born in 1945 in Gia Long Province (Central Highlands), Vietnam. He is the President of the Montagnard Foundation, Inc., an organization which states that its mission is to preserve the lives, rights and culture of the Montagnard people.
Kok Ksor is also a member of the Transnational Radical Party (TRP), a non-government agency that investigates Human Rights abuses in the world.
In August 2004, Kok Ksor agreed to work with Prince Nguyen Phuc Buu Chanh, President of the Vietnamese Constitutional Monarchist League, to force the Government of Vietnam to honor the Royal Decree that created a special statute signed by the late Emperor Bao Dai on 21 May 1951, establishing rights guaranteeing the protection of Montagnard lands and their continued access to political affairs. Article 1 guarantees: "The Free Evolution of these Populations in Respect of their Traditions and of their Customs."
