Kanna (InuYasha) Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Kanna (神無) is a character in the anime and manga series InuYasha.
She is Naraku's first detachment and Kagura's older sister despite her younger looks and first appearance in both the manga and anime after Kagura. Her looks are that of a young girl with expressionless dark eyes and long white hair adorned with white flowers, while her clothing consists of a simple white kimono with matching sandals. She is a yōkai; formed from mu (無, nothingness); as such, she has no yōki; (demonic aura/power) as well as a scarce physical presence (she gives off no scent) and therefore cannot be detected by those whom would otherwise be sensitive to her (such as Miroku or InuYasha).
The mirror she carries is able to steal the soul of whomever gazes into it and it was once cracked after it attempted to absorb Kagome's apparently very large soul, causing it to "leak" and release the souls it had previously absorbed. It also serves as a means of reflecting any attack, physical or yōki;-based, and as a means of scrying.
Of all of Naraku's detachments, she alone has remained both alive and completely loyal to him.
