in Babylon 5]]Jerry Doyle (born 16 July 1956 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor best known for his role as Michael Garibaldi on the 1990's science fiction television series Babylon 5. His other science fiction acting credits include Sliders and Gangster World.
Previously a corporate jet pilot and a stockbroker, Doyle made an abrupt career change into acting in 1991, and Babylon 5 was his first significant role. In 1998, Doyle, a Republican, ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. House of Representatives in California's 24th Congressional district.
Doyle is now a talk radio host on several networks nationwide. He talks about politics, current events, and popular culture with wit, a cutting honesty, and the perfect voice for radio. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with his fiancee.
