Jacob Bronowski Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Jacob Bronowski (January 18 1908, Lódź, Poland - August 22 1974, East Hampton, New York, USA) was the presenter of the BBC television documentary series, The Ascent of Man which inspired Carl Sagan's series.
Bronowski wrote a Ph.D. in algebraic geometry, and was a poet; he became a physicist. After the Hiroshima bombing he became a biologist to better understand the nature of violence.
