Isabella, Duchess of Lorraine Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
'Isabella'\ (1400 - February 28 1453) was Duchess of Lorraine from 1431 to her death. She inherited the duchy from her father, duke Charles I, and ruled with her husband duke René of Anjou, also Duke of Bar and King of Naples. They had the following issue:- Duke John II of Lorraine and King of Naples (1425-1470)
- Yolande of Lorraine (1428-1483), married Frederick of Lorraine, count of Vaudemont; mother of duke René II of Lorraine
- Margaret of Anjou (1429-1482), married king Henry VI of England
- plus seven others who died in childhood
