Interesting Times is a novel in the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett.
In the story, the wizard Rincewind is transferred (via Magic) to the Counterweight Continent to help with a revolution against the government of the Agatean Empire. At the same time, Cohen the Barbarian is leading a group of warriors into the heart of the empire on a quest to steal something very valuable indeed.
Other featured characters include Twoflower and the Wizards of Unseen University.
