Hrodna (or Grodno; Belarusian: Го́радня, Гро́дна; Grodno in Polish and Russian language, Gardinas in Lithuanian) is a former Lithuanian city in Belarus (now) on Nemunas river, close to the borders to Poland and Lithuania. It has about 300,000 inhabitants.Because the city is located near the border of Poland and Lithuania, it has one of the largest concentrations of Catholics in Belarus.
