Houston Community College System Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Houston Community College System (HCCS) is a community college system that operates community colleges in Houston, Missouri City, and Stafford in Texas, and also serves Bellaire, Southside Place, and West University Place. All of the Houston Independent School District area is part of the HCCS taxation area.

HHCS is the third largest community college system in the United States.

The college system plans to add the Spring Branch, North Forest, and Alief areas of Houston as well as the villages (Bunker Hill Village, Hedwig Village, Hilshire Village, Hunters Creek Village, Piney Point Village, and Spring Valley) and Katy to its areas of service.

HCC Central College in Midtown Houston is served by a METRORail station.
