H II region.

HII regions are clouds of hot, ionized hydrogen (HII or H+) in the interstellar medium. Many of them surround young O and B stars and are ionized by their light. These HII regions are called Strömgren spheres.

Visually, a HII region appear as an emission nebula, but most energy is radiated in the infrared wavelengths. In radiowaves, HII is visible at the 6cm wavelength.
