George Dantzig Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

George Dantzig (born 8 November 1914) is a mathematician who introduced the simplex algorithm and is considered the "Father of linear programming".

Dantzig became a prototype of a famous urban legend, when he was a graduate student at UC Berkeley. He accidentally solved two problems that the professor gave to the students as an example of an open problem in statistics; being late for class, Dantzig thought that problems were given as a homework assignment.
