Gary Price is an electronic librarian, well-known for his technical knowledge, founding resourceshelf.com, and originating Price's List of Lists, "a database of ranked listings of companies, people and resources freely available on the Internet", which is now maintained by others. Price also contributes to Search Engine Watch [1] and Searcher [1]. Gary also started and contributes to Docuticker .
A former reference librarian at George Washington University, this native of the Chicago area holds a masters of library and information science degree from Wayne State University and a bachelors of arts degree from the University of Kansas.
With Chris Sherman, Price co-authored the book The Invisible Web.
In 2002, the Special Libraries Association [1] gave him the Innovations in Technology Award. He received the Special Libraries Association News Division's [1] Agnes Henebry Roll of Honor Award in 2004.
