Friends of the Earth Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Friends of the Earth is an environmentalist non-governmental organization. It was created in the United States by David Brower after his split with the Sierra Club. It is now a loosely affiliated network of organizations and affiliates in around 70 countries. The members of the Friends of the Earth network have distinct names in each country, such as Sahabat Alam Malaysia in Malaysia or Environmental Law Foundation, Ltd., in Sri Lanka.
