Frank Porter Graham (14 October 1886 - 16 February 1972) was a Democratic U.S. senator from the state of North Carolina between 1949 and 1950.Graham served as president of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1930 to 1932; the student union building at the university is named in his honor.
