Florida Territory Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
The Florida Territory was a historic organized territory of the United States from 1822 to 1845. The land was acquired from Spain, and the ceremonies of transfer took place on July 17, 1821 in Pensacola. The United States merged East Florida and West Florida into Florida Territory on March 30, 1822.
