Erpe-Mere is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Aaigem, Bambrugge, Burst, Erondegem, Erpe, Mere, Ottergem and Vlekkem. On January 1st, 2003 Erpe-Mere had a total population of 18,930 (9,371 males and 9,559 females). The total area is 34.02 km² which gives a population density of 566.31 inhabitants per km².
