The Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences (de: Die Encyclopädie der philosophischen Wissenschaften im Grundrisse) (1817) was a work of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel.English translations of part I and part III are available from Oxford University Press and part II will be available in september 2004. Each part is issued as a separate book.
The work describes the application of the pattern of dialectical reasoning (thesis—antithesis—synthesis) to all areas of human knowledge.
