Dolos class Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
In the fictional Gundam universe, the Dolos class was one of the largest vessels ever constructed. Designed and built by the Zeon to be the ultimate space weapon, this ship has 8 two-barrel beam turrets and room for 182 Mobile Suits. However, the vessles are so large and combersome to manuver that they were only used as semi-movable defensive structures during the One Year War. Only two of these vessels were built, and both saw action in defense of A Ba A Quo. The Dolos class ships were both sunk during the battle, helping the Federation to secure victory in the One Year War. Because the Dolos class proved to large to be of use it was scrapped in favor of other ships that could carry mobile suits faster and further.
