Fiji is divided into four parts, called divisions (capitals in parentheses)-

• Central Division (Suva)
• Northern Division (Labasa)
• Eastern Division (Levuka)
• Western Division (Lautoka)

Additionally, the island of Rotuma, north of the main archipelago, has the status of a dependency, with a degree of internal autonomy.
