Dagens Nyheter. or DN. is a daily newspaper in Sweden. It is published in Stockholm and aspires to full national and international coverage. It has the largest circulation of Sweden's newspapers, followed by Göteborgs-Posten and Svenska Dagbladet, and opinion leaders usually choose DN. as the venue for publishing major debate articles. The stated position of the editorial page is "independently liberal". The name of the newspaper literally means "Daily News" and, curiously, the period at the end is part of the name.Dagens Nyheter changed its format from the classic broadsheet to tabloid on October 5, 2004.
