This institutition is unrelated, other than by similarity of name, to Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee.Cumberland College is a private, liberal arts college located in Williamsburg, Kentucky. It was founded in 1889 and is affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention. The campus is located in the southeastern part of the state, just off Interstate 75, 190 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio, and 70 miles north of Knoxville, Tennessee. The institution sponsors intercollegiate sports teams in several sports and participates in the NAIA.
