Court TV is an American cable television network owned by Time Warner and Liberty Media that launched on July 1, 1991. Its programming includes programs, movies, news (with editorial content) and simulcasts of trials, usually criminal trials. Some of Court TV's content is broadcast in Canada on CourtTV Canada.Apart from having its own website, it also owns the website The Smoking Gun, with special documents.
