Details, Explanation and Meaning About Correction fluid

Correction fluid Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Correction fluid or white out is an opaque, white fluid applied to paper to mask mistakes. Once dried, it can be written over. It is typically packaged in small bottles and the lid comes with an attached brush that dips into the bottle. The brush is used to apply the fluid onto the paper. As the fluid is highly volatile as to dry quickly, the unused contents in the bottle often dry out and becomes too thick. Manufacturers of correction fluid will often sell corresponding thinners to dilute the bottle.

Before the invention of word processors and printers, correction fluid was a critical element of typewritten documents.

Brands of correction fluid include Liquid Paper, Wite-Out and Tipp-Ex.
