Control (1986) was the breakthrough album of Janet Jackson. It was launched on January 13, 1986. It was her first collaboration with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The first single was What Have You Done For Me Lately, it was followed by Nasty, When I Think of You, Control, The Pleasure Principle and Let's Wait Awhile.
