Congressional District Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
U.S. Congressional districts are determined after each census. As of the 2000 census, each district has about 640,000 people. States with relatively small populations have only a single district; at present, these states are Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Vermont, and Wyoming.
