Co-Counselling Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Co-Counselling is a grass roots low cost form of psychotherapy which uses minimal training to teach its members some basic rules in the therapist / client relationship. Members then meet regularly in pairs to give each other peer-to-peer counselling, in turn playing the role of counsellor and client, with equal amounts of time allocated to each.

It was originally formulated in 1965 by the American Harvey Jackins. The movement is split into Re-evaluation Counseling and Co-Counselling International.
