Cinemaware Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Cinemaware was a software company that released several popular game titles in the 80s based on movie themes. Some of their games include Defender of the Crown (Swashbuckling), "King of Chicago" (Mob movies), "S.D.I." (Space Drama / war between US & USSR with a crossed love theme), "Three Stooges" (3 Stooges movies), and "Sinbad: Throne of the Falcon" (Sinbad movies). These games were ported to several types of computers (particularly Defender of the Crown, which held the record for most ported game), including Amigas, Commodores, PCs, and the NES. They remain some of the best games to be created in the 80s. Cinemaware went bankrupt at some time, though it has been resurrected.
