Cedarville University is a Christian four-year co-educational liberal arts institution located in Cedarville, Ohio.Cedarville University has approximately 3,000 students. It emphasizes the importance of Christian ministry in one form or another by all of its students. (This is "ministry" in the sense of servanthood. It does not mean that all of the students are studying to become pulpit ministers, although many are.) It has athletic teams nicknamed the "Yellow Jackets" which compete in the NAIA's American Mideast Conference and also in Division I of the National Christian College Athletic Association Mid-West Region.
Cedarville University also has a partnership arrangement for Christian education with the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship Association. It is also the hub of the nine-station "CDR Radio Network", which broadcasts the school's chapel programs along with other Christian programming.
