Carmelo Anthony (born
May 29,
1984) currently plays professional
basketball for the
Denver Nuggets of the
NBA. He played collegiately for
Syracuse University, helping the team win the
NCAA tourament in
2003. Anthony entered the
2003 NBA Draft, giving up his remaining three years of NCAA eligibility, and was chosen third overall by the Denver Nuggets. Anthony was chosen as a member of the 2004 USA Olympic basketball team.
