Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey is a 1991 American comedy science fiction film, the sequel to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure;. Like the first film, this one stars Keanu Reeves as Ted and Alex Winter as Bill.
In this film, Bill and Ted are in an amateur heavy metal band called Wyld Stallyns. They are killed by two look-alike robots from the future, sent to hell, and eventually return, with Death (William Sadler) in tow, to try to set things right.
The film parodies the famous Ingmar Bergman film The Seventh Seal when Bill and Ted challenge Death to a contest to regain their lives: they beat him at Battleship and Twister, among other games. Death first says they have to win only one game, then best two out of three, then best three out of five; they beat him at all of them.
William Sadler also plays a minor role as an English family member.
