The Battle of Naboo refers to a fictional conflict between forces of the Trade Federation that had forcibly occupied Naboo and the planet's then-queen Padmé Amidala, Ben Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Anakin Skywalker, and the Gungan army.

The conflict began with the amassing of the Gungan Grand Army in the plain fields not to far away from the Theed city. The Trade Federation considered the Gungans a weak force that should be wiped out quickly. The viceroy and his chairman asked permission to Darth Sidius to began deploying their forces to meet the Gungan army in combat. Darth Sidious gave the permission they required, for his own purposes. The viceroy had trading disputes with Queen Amidala to make things worse.

The Gungan Grand Army joined with Naboo security forces and fighter pilots in order to become more powerful.

The assault began when the Naboo security forces rebeled against their droids captors in the city. They soon assembled in the plain fields with their leaders to plan the attack. The Gungan Grand Army was then sent to distract the droid armies in the fields while the security forces attacked and retake the city. The Federation Viceroy and his chairman believed that the battle would take place far away from the city not in it.

Another force was sent to destroy the Droid Control Ship orbiting the planet in order to disrupt the command and control of the droid armies.

The battle was victorious for the Naboo people, Darth Maul was killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Trade Federation Control ship was destroyed with all of its crew and the Viceroy and his chairman were to be charged of crimes in the Galactic Senate, but he retain his viceroy title after all.

The battle takes place in 32 BBY and is depicted in , and it ended with the deactivation of the Federation's droid army and expulsion from Naboo to face the judgment of the Galactic Republic Senate on Coruscant.
