Battle for Wesnoth is a turn based strategy computer game. The game is free software and Open Source. It runs in BeOS, FreeBSD, Linux, Mac OS X, OpenBSD, Solaris and Windows.
Set in a fantasy environment, an army of different kinds of fighters is built. Each kind does have its own techniques, advantadges in terrain or in moment of the day, speed, etc. while each specific character does have its own bonuses and evolve by advancing levels, sometimes transforming to more advanced characters.
