Baruch (ברוך "Blessed", Standard Hebrew Baruḫ, Tiberian Hebrew Bārūḵ) is the name of three people in the Hebrew Bible:

In the Book of Nehemiah Baruch son of Zabbai is listed as helping Nehemiah to repair the walls of Jerusalem [1]. Later someone called Baruch seals the covenant with Nehemiah [1] . These two may be the same person.
In Nehemiah 11:15 Baruch son of Col-Hozeh is listed as a returned captive, from the Tribe of Judah [1].
Baruch son of Neriah was the scribe of the prophet Jeremiah. See Jer [1], [1].
He acted in behalf of Jeremiah when Jeremiah was imprisoned (Jer [1])
The Apocalypse of Baruch is a separate work from the Book of Baruch, also written by Baruch.

The deuterocanonical Book of Baruch (considered by the Jews and most of the Protestants to be apocryphal) contains a work written by Baruch, the prophet, in Babylon, in the fifth year after the destruction of Jerusalem by the Chaldeans.
