Barons Court is a station on the Piccadilly and District lines of the London Underground in England. Barons Court is in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It is in zone 2.It is the first station coming out of London (travelling West) on the Piccadilly line which is not under ground. Hence it is the station of choice for changes between the District Line for those travelling to or from London's Heathrow Airport, along with Hammersmith .
Spelling
Unlike Earl's Court, Barons Court does not have an apostrophe, this has sometimes provoked humoured controversy.
Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College's Hammersmith branch is across Talgarth Road. (turn left out of the station)
The Queen's Club, location of the Stella Artois Championships tennis championship, is at the end of Palliser Road. (turn right out of the station)
