The American Nazi Party is an American Neo-Nazi political party formed in February 1959 under the leadership of George Lincoln Rockwell, and currently chaired by Rocky Suhayda. The organization is based largely upon the ideals and policies of the NSDAP in Germany during the first half of the 20th century. Poked fun of in the 1980 movie The Blues Brothers, the American Nazi Party is largely regarded as extremist, even for a fascist organisation.
