Amanda Grayson is a fictional character in the Star Trek universe. She is the human mother of Mr. Spock.

Little is known about Amanda. She appeared in only one episode of ("Journey to Babel") and two movies (' and briefly in '). (Her surname isn't even mentioned either in "Journey to Babel" or in the movies, even though it was given to her in an early draft of the screenplay of "Journey to Babel". She is first mentioned as Amanda Grayson in the episode "Yesteryear", which doesn't count as canon.) However, she is a very popular character and appears in many Star Trek novels and fan fiction stories.

In , Spock makes a comment he attributes to one of his ancestors. It is a quote from Sherlock Holmes, which implies that Amanda is one of his descendants.

According to the most accepted Star Trek chronology, Amanda Grayson was born in 2202 in Seattle, Washington. She met Ambassador Sarek, a member of a prominent Vulcan family in 2223. They married in the same year and she moved to Vulcan with her husband. Although it wasn't mentioned in the series, their marriage is usually considered to be the first marriage between two species. Spock is the first Vulcan-Human hybrid.

In "Journey To Babel" and The Voyage Home, Amanda was played by Jane Wyatt. Another actress, Cynthia Blaise, played Amanda in the flashback scene of The Final Frontier, and Majel Barrett was the voice of Amanda in the animated series, but the role of Amanda is almost always associated with Jane Wyatt.
