Alpha Gamma Omega Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description
ΑΓΩ - Alpha Gamma Omega (aka "AGO") is a fraternity which is centered on Jesus Christ: a Christian fraternity. It was created in 1927 at UCLA, with E. Harlan Fischer as the first president. There are currently eight active chapters.

Members of AGO subscribe to the following statement of faith:
"I hereby publicly confess my belief in the Lord Jesus Christ as God and only Savior and give witness to the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit in my life. I will make it a purpose of my life to continue in fellowship with God through prayer and reading of the Holy Scriptures."Fraternity-Wide Events
Membership Requirements
Pledges may become active members of an AGO chapter at the invitation of the current active members. To become eligible for consideration, pledges must perform the following tasks during their pledgeship, while obeying the pledge rules:
Legal Issues
U.S. Federal and state laws prohibit campus organizations at public universities from discriminating in their membership based on religion. However, it is well-accepted that an organization ought not be forced to accept into its leadership those persons who disagree with its very stated purpose. Because AGO's primary purpose is to spread the Gospel, the fraternity requires that its officers submit to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and subscribe to the Fraternity Statement of Faith.List of Chapters
