Alemannic language Guide, Meaning , Facts, Information and Description

Alemannic is an Upper German language of the Germanic language family.

Alemannic comprises the following variants:

• High Alemannic, better known as Swiss German or Schwyzerdütsch (mostly in Switzerland)
• Highest Alemannic or Walser (originally in the Wallis Canton of Switzerland). The Term "Swiss German" often includes also Walser as a Swiss Alemannic variant.
• Low Alemannic dialects:
  • Alsatian (in Alsace, France)
  • Swabian (mostly in Schwaben, in Germany)
  • Alemán Coloneiro (in Venezuela)
