Aladdin and the King of Thieves is an animated film made by The Walt Disney Company in 1996. It is the second sequel to Aladdin, following 1994's The Return of Jafar. It was released direct to video, and it marks the end of the Aladdin Disney movies and the Aladdin animated series.

Storyline

Aladdin discovers that his father, Cassim, is alive and the leader of the Forty Thieves. This was discovered after the Forty Thieves raided Aladdin and Jasmine's wedding, seeking a staff with an oracle residing in it. The Oracle was able see into the past and the future, but could only answer one question. When Aladdin finds his father, he learns why Cassim abandoned he and his mother. Cassim seeks the Hand of Midas, a relic able to transform anything into gold. Aladdin joins him, but they are betrayed by Saluk, a former member of the Forty Thieves who sought revenge after he lost his position among them to Aladdin.
