rendition.]]Aiur is the homeworld planet of the Protoss in the StarCraft universe. The planet is full of vegetation, making it a world of jungles.
In the original game of StarCraft, Aiur was the last point of attack for the alien species of the Zerg in an attempt to consume the whole Protoss species in order to assimilate it. The attack was repelled when the mighty Tassadar, a Protoss Templar, was able to destroy the Zerg Overmind by sacrificing his own life. Unfortunately, the planet was so devastated that the Protoss had to leave for the planet of Shakuras, homeworld of the Dark Templar.
